As part of our 1916 celebrations, the Senior Room students – with the help and input of the Junior classes – wrote their own Proclamation. We must stress that this was entirely their own work – with no contribution from the teachers. I think you’ll agree that with such wonderful sentiments and care for the community, the leaders of the 1916 Rising would be very proud – as we are – that Ireland’s future in safe in their hands.
